These photos show an Air America helicopter which crash landed during the US’s ‘Secret War’ fought during the years 1964-1973 in Laos.

Air America was the CIA’s private airline that hauled weapons, troops and supplies for the US and its allies in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The airline’s pilots had a reputation for flying in situations where service pilots would not or could not go, especially on rescue missions.
