One of my favourite 1980s Liverpool band tracks is called Broke My Neck, by Echo and the Bunnymen. It’s a favourite for very personal reasons.

I saw the Bunnymen many times during the period I was going to Eric’s club and playing in Liverpool bands in 1978-1980, when they were, at first, just another aspiring Liverpool band.
