Back Part 2 – Reader Review as a Summary
Reader Review of BACK Part 2:
Having read Part 1 of “Back”, I was keen to see what lay in store in Part 2 and I wasn’t disappointed. The author dispenses with the alternate chapters of the first book that had the action oscillating between the past and the present. None of the intensity is lost and, if anything, the pace is even more compelling. No plot spoilers from this reviewer, but suffice to say that the British contingency of backpackers don’t cover themselves in glory and I have determined to make my children read this work before they ever go on a gap year to SE Asia.
There’s action, history and emotion in equal spoonfuls (yes, I’m still waiting for my free gift…). When I reviewed the first part of “Back” I noted its potential as a great film and Part 2 only confirms my view. Great stuff!
